Tom Rountree has been playing classical guitar for over 20 years. He had the fortunate
opportunity to have a classical guitar professor in high school. He had formal training for
4 years and was professionally playing in museums, private homes, and parties by the time
he was a junior in high school. His styles include classical, renaissance, baroque, flamenco
as well as contemporary compositions. He currently is studying South American composers.

His current musical project involves recruiting artists to play at local hospitals and retirement
homes in the surrounding Houston area. This program is called Healing Notes.
