I was playing the Prelude from
Bach’s Cello Suite I next to the
Emergency room one day.
An ER staff member came up
and started listening to me. After
I finished I looked up to see a
very tired person. He just looked
at me and said “You know, I
was feeling frustrated and angry
until I heard you play today.”
Experiences like this one are
definitely worth playing for.
